Description:
Standard configuration ZFK 31/55, one of approximately 5000 such rifles, an evolution of the K31 /42 and K31/43 sniper rifles, this one with telescopic sights, heavy barrel, flash suppressor/muzzle brake, center-mounted foldable bipod, and armorers kit. In addition to the standard K31 rear sight calibrated from 1-15, these guns were fitted with a quick detachable 3.5 power Kern telescopic sight, with serial numbering on top surface, whose reticle includes a thick central post with two horizontal hairs. The receiver has a Swiss “cross over chamber” with full serial number on left receiver and bolt. Matching barrel and magazine whose base is marked “Zf. Kar. 2663”. Khaki green scope can numbered to scope and dual set of belt loops, includes screwdriver. Fully equipped armorers kit with factory zinc sealed plastic bag full of small parts in addition to a spare rear sight, extractor, trigger, trigger spring, and the usual components compartmentalized in khaki colored canvas roll up bag marked with the ZFK 55 metal tag.

VG Swiss Bern ZFK 31/55 sniper rifle, all matching including magazine, scope, and can with correct sling and armorers kit.
Condition:
VG overall with original finish blue, faded around barrel and bipod as photographed, stock with a scattering of dents and scratches, many discolored, under a resprayed coating. Import mark on barrel. Scope and can are near excellent, though some of the highlighting white paint not present, with crisp optics and crosshairs. Good condition sling. Bright bore with strong rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. Excellent, seemingly unissued armorers kit. A nice representative ZFK 31/55 sniper rifle, all matching, with armorers kit, whose appearance would improve greatly with a careful refinish of the wood furniture
