This is an average Remington Smoot Revolver...the smaller No. 1 Pocket Model. Nickel plated with the early Remington Faux Ivory Birdshead Grips. Historically-speaking, these imitation ivory grips were one of the first commercial uses of what we today known as "plastic"...which is nearly 150 years old. Caliber is .30 Rimfire. Overall, NRA Antique Good Condition with 35% original nickel remaining. Good legible barrel address marked "E. REMINGTON & SONS ILION NY PAT. WS SMOOT OCT. 21. 1873" and decent screws. Action works nicely. Bore is a little frosty but exhibits good rifling and no rings or bulges. $15.00 shipping via USPS Priority Mail in lower 48. No sales to NJ, NYC, Chicago, or DC.
