"Winchester 12 12 Gauge shotgun. Made in 1941 and was altered from a Deluxe skeet gun to a shortened barrel riot gun by Dow Chemical at the outbreak of WWII. The trigger guard is marked with Dows issue number “55805E33". At the outbreak of WWII, defense plants used whatever guns they could get to supply guards. The Dow Chemical plant is near Freeport, Tx.
