Description:
Winchester M1 Carbine Mfg. Feb 1944 to Nov 1944. All Winchester all the way. Top of the receiver is roll stamped WINCHESTER TRADEMARK 5598xxx.The stock is marked with Ordance Corps escution final inspector markings and a W in the sling slot, barrel marked with the W and the PW in oval. The bore is perfect bright and shinny. All Winchester parts all the way. The barrel receiver trigger housing and slide all have the green/gray parkerized finish used on Winchester Carbines in this serial range. The flat bolt & trigger housing pins have the blue/black Du-lite finish as used by Winchester. Carbine complete with production olive sling and 15 round magazin marked IW.
The carbine retains 98+% of the Winchester parkerized and Du-Lite finishes, it is as would be from the factory in 1944. The stock and hand guard match in color and finish and are original to this carbine by Winchester. The Carbine components show very limited wear and retain nearly all their original finishes. I have some provinence/history with this carbine.
