Description:
24" tapered round barrel with full-band blade front sight, full-band swivel base, quarter rib with 1 standing and 2 folding gold-lined express sights engraved for 50, 100 & 200 yards. Fully figured walnut stock by Jerry Fisher with widow's-peaked ebony forend tip, classic wrap-around point-pattern checkering with mullered borders, steel-capped pistol grip, beaded pancake cheekpiece, inletted and pedestalled rear swivel base and dark brown pigskin-covered recoil pad. Metalwork by Dave Talley: Mauser action with jeweled bolt and follower, model 70-type safety, custom trigger with sculptured lever, hinged straddle floorplate with release inside triggerguard. Leupold Vari-X III 2.5-8x scope with fine duplex reticle on Leopold rings and custom bases. Extensively deep-chiseled scroll and game scene engraving by Tommy Kaye: Baying elk on floorplate and filigreed bear on triggerguard surrounded with three-dimensional scroll. Scroll on action, grip cap, quarter rib, swivel bases, front sight band, and bolt knob. All with extensive gold inlaid borderlines. Pull: 14". Weight: 8lbs, 14oz. New condition.
