Description:
Very nice used Krieghoff Neptun drilling, circa approx 1966. Very American in the caliber choices, 16x16x30-06. Factory upgrade buffalo horn triggerguard, double triggers. Tight as a tic overall. Has been hunted, as such there are some handling marks on barrel and stock- see photos. Shot actually very little. Overall wonderful condition. Small rear blade notch sight is raised when the safety style cocking mechanism is pushed forward. Front sight is just a steel blade. Bores are shiny and clean as new on the 25" barrels. No cracks in the wood nor the horn triggerguard. Euro style sling swivels. Lovely deep chisel Germanic engraving is spectacular, with running roe deer and does, pheasants and a bugling stag and his hines in the forest. Wood has very nice figure and grain. Legend on the bottom of the frame reads "Krieghoff-Drilling" over "Waldschutz-Primus". Screws are all properly timed. This drilling is priced under market value based on other online comparables. In order to protect your investment, all long guns over $500 must be shipped in a hard case. Minimum shipping at this level is $55 and includes the hard case. Shipping cost could increase depending on value or weight of the firearm. For long guns less than $500, we still recommend the purchase of a hard case, again to protect your investment.
