A spectacular Dakota 76 lbuilt in the early years when Allen and Grisel began Dakota Arms. This was ordered by a collector who had his own serial number range. None of his Dakota rifles were ever used. This one has a 24" CM barrel in 375 H&H. All the metal has a matte blue finish. Dakota QD scope mounts. The stock is a truely magnificent English Walnut with marble cake, some burl and feathering throughlout. Please check out the photos as the checkering is abundant with full wrap-arount on the forend and over the top on the grip. The open grip cap is also checkered to match. There is not a hint of a flaw in the inletting. All the metal looks like the wood just grew around it. Every screw slot lines up perfectly and none have been turned.
