Custom built 308 Win. on a post 64 stainless claw extractor model 70 action. Built by the late R.L.Matthews of Dalton,Ga. ,this rifle has a 21" Hart #5 stainless fluted barrel,a McMillian pillar bedded kevlar stock,and Talley stainless bases. This rifle is in mint like new condition retaining 100% finish. The rifle is extremely accurate as the attached target photo shows.. The trigger has been honed and adjusted to break cleanly at 2.5 lbs. With the proper scope this would make a great all around big game rifle. Current cost to rbuild this rifle is near $3000.
