"The overall length is approximately 40". The 25½" round barrel has a fair bore with visible rifling and pitting. All metal has a smooth brown patina. The butt stock is good with an old repair at the heel. Forearm is good with a missing 2½" chip at the right receiver. The takedown functions correctly. The rolling block type action functions but is tight. This is an interesting example of an early boy’s rifle. This rifle comes equipped with a leather sling. It would be great for a single shot .22 collection.
