This is a German made shotgun made for and imported by A&F. Barrel rib is marked Abercrombie & Fitch Co. New York, Monogram, which we assume is the grade of the shotgun. Barrel is marked fluid steel and Krupp - Essen. 28 inch barrels are also marked made in Germany and  have automatic ejectors.   The water table is marked 16/70 mm  for 2 3/4  shells and is dated 1/27. and is marked ""Nitro"" amongst various other German proofs. Chokes are modified and modified. Length of pull is 14"" to a checkered butt. All of the checkering is excellent with no dents or marrs or cracks. Overall condition is excellent. The barrels have 99% factory blue. This is a Box lock shotgun with case colored sideplates with all of their vivid case colors as does the frame, which has the A&F logo. This is a light double showing little or no use. German quality Monogram grade for Abercrombie and Fitch!
