#212870, Winchester Model 70 Pre-64 in 375 Weatherby Magnum Made in 1952 as a 375 H&H, It was rechambered to the 375 Weatherby in Weatherby's shop and so marked, 25" barrel with 2 folding factory rear sights, Factory front sight hood, Weaver scope bases, Standard 3 position safety, Standard Model 70 hinged floorplate, Cross bolts to reinforce the factory stock, Glass bedded at the recoil lug, It now has 2 screw sling eyes both fore and aft, 14 1/2" LOP over a 1 5/16" Kick-EEz pad plus a 1/2" spacer, Remove that and it will go 13 9/16" with a 1" pad installed, 9 lbs. 3 oz., The original barrel blue is at 95%, The receiver is at 80%, The bottom metal is at 88%, The stock is 88%, The checkering at 96%, The bore is excellent. A set of C&H loading dies go with the gun. Here is a rifle ready for some serious Alaskan or African work with the right work done on the inside to make it a tough hombre.
