Description:
The Thompson/Center® Compass™ Centerfire Bolt-Action Rifle offers shooters an exceptionally functional centerfire bolt-action rifle from a trusted American brand—at an affordable price. The compass utilizes a 3-lug bolt design for a dependable lock up, while providing a 60° bolt lift to ensure fast, smooth cycling of the action. The lightweight synthetic stock has aluminum pillar bedding to provide a solid platform for the receiver while free floating the barrel for consistent accuracy. Contours and texturing on the stock provide a sure grip, and a rubber recoil pad minimizes felt recoil to keep you on target. The Compass comes with a Thompson/Center match grade barrel with 5R rifling that delivers precision accuracy. A 3-position safety allows the rifle to be loaded and unloaded with the safety engaged. The Compass Centerfire Bolt-Action Rifle comes with a detachable, rotary magazine that fits flush with the stock to enhance ease of carry and shooting from multiple positions. 6.5mm Creedmoor
