Saddle ring carbine in scarce .38-55 caliber made in 1901. Comes with factory letter stating features. 20"" barrel with correct carbine rear sight. Bore has strong rifling with light roughness in a few areas. The metal finish is in an even blue/brown patina. The stocks are very good with light handling marks. A desirable 1894 saddle ring carbine.
