RARE, ALPINE MAUSER (BRUNN) G33/40, CAL. 8MM, SER. 4347 d, THIS NAZI ALPINE CARBINE IS IN REALLY FINE SHAPE IT HAS RETAINED ABOUT 85% OF THE ORIGINAL BLUE. THE LITTLE LOSS THERE IS, IS DUE TO THE USUAL SHARP EDGE SILVERING, SURFACE HANDLING AND LIGHTLY SCATTERED PIN PRICKS. ALL PARTS APPEAR TO BE ORIGINAL TO THE GUN, THE BOLT IS THE CORRECT HOLLoW TYPE AND DOES NOT MATCH, THE RECEIVER IS STAMPED "DOT/1942" AND TWO CORRECT WAFFENAMTS. THE HARDWOOD LAMINATED STOCK HAS RETAINED ABOUT 90% 0F THE FACTORY LACQUER AND IS SURPRISINGLY FREE OF SPLITS AND GOUGES. JUST SOME SMALL DINGS. IT HAS THE PROPER NARROW SIGHT AND SIGHT COVER. THE SLIDE RAILS, BOLT FACE AND FEED RAMP SHOW MODEST WEAR. THE BORE IS QUITE BRIGHT WITH SHARP RIFLING AND LIGHT SCATTERED FROST. IT COMES WITH ONE ORIGINAL RAM ROD AND ORIGINAL SLING.
