Here is a Gebruder Merkel 203E Luxus in 20 gauge made in 1955 in the GDR. Outstanding deep game scene and oak leaf engraving. Oak leaf carving on the stock. Gun is in 99% + original condition. Toe under, compact oak and leather case with an unattached Gebruder Merkel Leather Trade Label. Q1 (Quality 1 ) stamped on barrel lump. Concealed top lever release. Hand detachable locks. Three piece forend. Horn grip cap with two engraved screws. Auto safety. Bohler Barrels are 26" with IC and Mod chokes. Chambers are 2 3/4". Mirror bores. Weight of gun is 6 LBS 5 1/4 OZ. Double triggers with front trigger articulated. Ejectors well timed. Shipping is $100. Stock dimensions follow.
