Description:
This survivor has seen little use; metal pretty much as new with no marks or flaws to speak of. Still has front site hood with excellent bore.
The American Walnut Stock Set has a few handling marks, bumps and bruises that could be touched up by someone wiht knowledge of how to do this; metal rated well over 90%, wood around 80 or perhaps a bit under.
Bore is excellent as well
Factory drilled and tapped for scope, the filler screws have never been removed and no scope was ever mounted.
Many belive that these (New Haven) Ct Made Marlins were of a better designe than the Winchesters of the era and the side ejection facilitated the use of a scope.
