#559165, Jim Kobe, Bloomington, Minnesota: A Super Nice 9.3 x 62 Mauser on a Pre-64 Model 70 Action, The action was made in 1962, 23" barrel, No open sights, Very nice profiled 2 piece scope bases set up to take the detachable Talley rings, Blackburn straddle hinged floorplate with a center bow release, A 3-position Model 70 wing safety, Model 70 trigger, Action rails inside and out are polished, Built-up & checkered bolt stop release, Profiled rear receiver tang like a pre-war Model 70 with a blind rear guard screw hole at the top of the tang, A classic style stock, Full wrap around point pattern checkering, Shadowline cheekpiece, Ebony forend tip, Double screw sling eyes on the stock, Jerry Fisher 2 screw steel grip cap, 14 5/16" LOP over a 1" pad, 8 lbs. 1 oz., An excellent piece of English Walnut with a lot of black/brown contrast that carries the entire length of the stock, The original satin rust blue remains at 99%, The original stock finish at 99%, The checkering is at 100%, The bore is brand new.
