Description:
Sold Pending Funds - 1981 Colt Python with a 2 1/2'' barrel and factory electroless nickel finish. These were pulled from the line and given the special finish through Colt’s Custom Shop, and finding one in this condition takes a long time, as the matt finish is prone to staining and being easily marred. The finish remains untouched as both the higher polish areas on the frame and cylinder as well as the duller areas of the finish on the cylinder flutes, top of the frame and barrel, grip frame, and trigger guard remain very defined and well contrasted. This difference in definition is how you can tell these have never been polished or buffed in any way. There is only the very slightest of handling and overall it rates a solid 99% +. The mechanics are ultra smooth and crisp with that hand-tuned action the Python is famous for. Please view the photos here for the purpose of evaluating the condition for yourself.
