Description:
Native American carved wooden bushman mask depicted with broad lips, a short nose with flared nostrils and Northwest Coast style eyes, without any openings. A dark colored natural stain line extends below the left eye to the bottom edge of the mask. Crafted by Norman Steria (Northern Tutchone Tribe, Canada). Bushman artist's signed initials and "94" are written in ink inside the back of the mask, at the top right side. A cross circled "medicine wheel" design is drawn below. 21.8cm; 8" x 9"W x 6"D. 1994.
