From a mid-west sale, a Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle in 32 Winchester Special caliber. The walnut stock is in good condition with no cracks or chips but some dings and scratches (see photos). The butt plate is made from a deer antler (see photos). The 20" barrel has a semi-buckhorn rear sight and a blade front sight. The barrel, magazine tube, lever and receiver of the rifle has aged to a mottled grey patina with signs of previous oxidation and all are in good condition. The rifle is undamaged, functions as it should, and has a good bore (I have not cleaned this gun). The hand crafted Deer Antler butt plate gives the rifle a unique appearance. At the sale they said this rifle was manufactured in 1943 and only a few were made, however, the gun came with no history or documentation.
