Description:
Very rare-rare Model 70 pre war rifle in 22.3000 caliber. Good condition with scope and sling-came originally with long tube scope and drilled and tapped for it. Also has adjustable forearm plate. Nice deep checkering. This was a popular caliber from Winchester into the late 30's. Winchester produced the brass upt through 1961. 45 grain bullet at 2,616 fps. The gun includes scope/mounts/strap/brass-bullets and misc. Brass is available from RCC Brass. Barrel is marked Winchester Model 70 with 22.3000 caliber. I cannot find any others for sale. Find another one. Add this to your Winchester collection and shoot it. Designed for competition shooting and or driving tacks. Will ship for the cost of shipping/insurance to qualified parties.
