Description:
This flask is built from a flattened cow horn with brass tack fastened walnut end plugs. Top has a turned horn spout with several chips. Bottom shows a chip in side with damage to body from the impact. The wood ends show marks from use. This very appealing flask appears to date from approx. early 1800s based on design and construction. A nice piece for the flask or horn collector.
