Springfield 1911 .45 ACP caliber pistol. Scarce U.S. 1911 Military pistol. Slide has a mostly brown patina with a very light SS 7/26/31 marking, next to the Federal Eagle. Its barely visible. Frame has approximately 60-70% original blue with some etching, near serial number. Good-very good overall condition. A desirable 1911.
