Description:
Bushmaster Assault Rifle was produced by Gwinn Firearms (name was later changed to Bushmaster) from 1972 to 1988. It utilized a combination of a long stroke gas piston, similar to an AK-47 rifle, and using as many AR-15 components as possible to decrease product costs. It features adjustable front and rear sights with a folding metal stock. This Bushmaster Assault Rifle is in excellent condition, with over 98% of the original bluing. The bore is bright and features sharp visible rifling. The rubber paint coating on the metal stock is cracking around the center joint. However, the metal stock itself is solid and structurally sound. All of the mechanicals function perfectly. This is a nice example of an early Bushmaster Assault Rifle and would be an excellent addition to any firearms collection.
