***SALE PENDING*** #1201 LAYAWAY....SERIAL 18943. BARREL 32". CALIBER .50 CALIBER. These alterations were performed at Springfield Armory in 1871. Mostly Burnside frames were used but this frame has Spencer frame. The armory added a new 32.5" barrel, added a Stabler cutoff, added a full walnut fore-end attached by two bands and a cleaning rod. The left side of stock has faint ESA cartouche. All metal is a clean soft patina. Sights are standard post front with military rear. Stocks are near excellent with usual dings but proud to metal and not refinished.
