Description:
"Overall length is approximately 46". The heavy 30" octagon barrel has a very good bore with frosting in the grooves. The barrel has approximately 92% blue with a few areas of light roughness and scattered small dents. The action has visible case colors with other areas turning gray. The butt stock has a checkered pistol grip and light use dings and dents. There are no cracks or chips. The plain forend has an iron tip. It has use dents and dings and an unobtrusive chip on the left side at the barrel a couple of inches in front of the receiver. It has a sporting open type rear sight with elevator and blade front sight. The action functions correctly, with its heavy barrel and .45-70 caliber. This is a very desirable Remington-Hepburn sporting rifle. It would nicely fit in a single shot rifle or Remington collection.
