<<<SOLD>>>An interesting 19th century fowler with a lock-plate named: L.T. Cooper, and a 36" long round barrel with a flared muzzle, and the bore is about .58 to .60 caliber? The lock works well, and the walnut wood has some section missing near the lock plate and around the side screws there is wood putty, and some was added around the trigger guard long ago, with the back end of the brass trigger guard missing but filled in. Comes with a plain hard wood ram-rod, and it appears that this was a flintlock at one time with an oval proof mark on the barrel. This is sold as a wall hanger for your mantle. Can be re-stored with some time and card added to up grade this old gal! Exterior metal is brown patina, and the butt-plate,and ram-rod ferrules are brass. Good project gun with already lots of character.Check my inventory of rare grips, unusual gun parts, barrels and holsters.
