A Daklota 76 in .416 Rigby. Custom ordered by a collector, it is new. unfired with no handling marks. This is a Don Allen vintage rifle. 24" barrel with quarter rib, one standing rear sight. hooded white bead front sight and a barrel band sling mount. It has a deep magazine for 4 down and a 3 panel checkered bolt knob. No scope bases have ever been mounted. All the metal is in a very dark Grey matte finish. This is all mounted oin a 3X piece of French Walnut with tons of marbling.
Well checkered in a borderless point pattern. 13 5/8" LOP with a shadow line cheekpiece, open checkered grip cap and a great looking ebony or rosewood forend tip. Two crossbolts are Ebony filled. This is a stunning rifle. Great looks, great workmanship and a wonderful caliber. You will not find a better African rifle and this will make a centerpiece in your collection.
