This is a beautiful Winchester Model 1886 Rifle, this rifle features a checkered stock and pistol grip, checkered forend, desirable color case hardened finish on the frame. The barrel exhibits approximately 90% original blue with a sharp address and caliber marking. The bore is very good. 40-82 caliber. The frame shows approximately 60% of the original color case hardened finish. The wood stock and forearm are excellent and appear to show no evidence of refinish whatsoever. The wood to metal fit is near perfect. Great action. Missing the firing pin. Comes with factory letter confirming all factory features. This is an absolutely beautiful deluxe 1886 Winchester being so untouched and unmessed with over the years, just gives it “that” appearance.
