Description:
This Heym Express .416 Rigby features a double-squarebridge Magnum Mauser-style controlled-feed action with a 3 position Model 70-type safety, a 24" Krupp Steel barrel with an Island Rear Sight regulated for 50, 100, and 200 yards, generous 4 round magazine capacity, and a traditional straight-combed walnut stock with a rosewood tip, double crossbolts, and a Trapdoor Pistol Grip Cap that houses an extra front sight bead and a drift punch. Manufactured in West Germany circa 1990–91. A quick note on this rifle's magazine capacity: On a number of occasions, I've heard that with a bit of effort one can fit 5 rounds into the magazine. Resist that temptation. Cantankerous quarry like Cape buffalo, elephant, and lion may not exhibit your desired level of patience as you struggle to clear a jam.
