Description:
Early Marlin 1893 born in 1894. Crescent butt plate with nice wood, maybe refinished and the crescent but plate has a non matching serial # so might not be original wood. Nice patina on receiver with no pitting. I would rate the bore about 5. Shootable with prominent rifling. Can shoot some groups if buyer wants to know how accurate it is. Serial # 103XXX. Rifle functions cartridges as it did when it was new. 1 lb 12 oz trigger pull.
