This is a standard 26 inch round barrel rifle. It is chambered for the 25-35 W.C.F. This is one of the very hard cartridges to find in this model. This rifle is fitted with factory sling eyes. It also has the correct Lyman tang sight for the serial number range. The rear sight is the two leaf folding sight. The front sight is the rare windage adjustable folding globe sight. The bore is bright and sharp. There is good traces of color case on the lever. The stock and forend have no cracks or damage. The original bluing would rate a 94% overall condition. The stock does have some light dents on the left side. The varnish retains almost all of the original finish. This is a very fine early Winchester in the very hard to find 25-35 W.C.F. cartridge. The special sights and sling eyes also add to this gun's appeal. This is a very accurate collector grade Winchester that will appeal to the collector and shooter. Search for hlvfineguns on google.
