<<<<SOLD>>>>>A super clean Navy Arms side lock mule ear .45 cal rifle with a clean, shiny, rifled bore , still with bluing.Exterior blue on the barrel is about 93% with a few spots of recent finish loss. corrosion, and the side lock works well with very strong color case hardening. The walnut hand rubbered stock is clean and has no issues, Comes with mellow/aged brass furniture. Looks like a pewter nose cap.The ramrod is fiberglass with a wide brass tip. Rear sight is a buck-horn type and the front sight is a captured steel blade type.This is a light weight , handy hunter. The earlier imported black powder muzzle loader fire arms were brought into this country by CVA, Lyman, Navy Arms, and Dixie gun works . It is beleived that the Navy Arms guns were made by Pedersoli for them. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
