Description:
This is an honest example of an all original Russian TT33 pistol, made in 1939 at Tula factory, just in time for a Winter War with Finland, chambered in hard hitting 7.62x25 cartridge. The gun is all original bring-back without added safety lever, and appears to be in very good condition with wear and spotting in the finish, consistent with 6 years of service, but no rust. Excellent grips and a near mint bore! It is an all matching gun (except for a correct wartime magazine), including frame, slide, barrel and a hammer group. Profusely marked with five pointed Tula factory star on most of the parts. TT33 was a continuation of Browning design, with some simplifications made for a mass military production. Very few of these guns ever made it to the West, and the recent imports had an added safety lever(originals did not). An honest example for a WWII handgun collection.
