Here's a really rare bird! Not many model 591's were made , all in first couple of years
of the Seventies. This little guy has never been fired or even loaded. The bolt never in the gun.
No one has handled this gun except me and that was for these pictures only. How's that for New?
The Remington 591 M. Shoots the 5 MM Magnum shell. This is an ideal Varmit combination for the
economy-minded shooter. I have used the591 M for years on Coyote , Cat and squirrel ( for long
range.) New shells cost about 19.00 for box of 50.
Muzzle velocity is 2200 +. With the 38 gr., or 30 gr., Hollow point
Has 24" precision rifled barrel that is very, very accurate !
Grooved for a scope if desired. ( the iron sights are great).
This gun has been in humidity controlled room for many years.
Can you believe , this little fellow sold new in 1971 for $74.95. !!!
Oh, by the way, collectors are figuring this out .
