This is a beautiful example of the rarer "jungle stock" SKS paratrooper carbines manufactured by Norinco. Truly collector grade. NRA Excellent Condition inside and out with very little range time on gun. The paratrooper carbine sports the shorter 16.1" barrel, compared to the more common 20" rifle barrel found on most imported SKS's. All matching numbers throughout. Ten round original (and serial numbered) attached magazine. The "red plastic stock" is actually made of a polymer, in light brown color. These stocks were provided to China's military and military partners for use in more hot and humid fighting theatres (such as Vietnam) where the traditional wood stock would quickly warp, rot and disintigrate. This unit ships with a sling and the buttstock cleaning kit in place. No bayonet or cleaning rod. A great addition to any SKS collection.
