Offered here for your perusal is this rarely encountered Master Engraved SMITH & WESSON N-framed .357 (Pre Model 27) 5 Screw Revolver that has been beautifully engraved by Master Engraver Angelo Bee. He has almost fully engraved this revolver in classic banknote style highlighted with flowing scroll work and punch dot shadowing that also features genuine gold and silver inlay caricatures and real gold inlay borders. The lettering in SMITH & WESSON and S&W 357 MAGNUM along the 6 inch barrel are also gold inlaid. The left side depicts a Golden Eagle, spread winged and the right side shows a Golden racoon scooping up a Silver Crayfish . This incredible masterpiece is signed by the engraver A.BEE. Angelo Bee was an engraver for Fabrique Nationale and has worked on countless Brownings. He was under he tutalege of Felix Funken. Mr. Bee resides in So. Cal. and is in his 80's. From what I understand, he is no longer taking in engraving work so there will likely never be another like this again. This revolver was manufactured circa 1954-1955 and has a target hammer and patridge front sight. The barrel and cylinder are also pinned and recessed. The stocks are Service style made of Turkish walnut and custom made by Culina LLC.
