I’ve based my business around these Volcanics for quite some time, this is the best Pocket Model I’ve had. This gun shows 90% of the delicate silver on the frame. The barrel shows 75% blue. The grips are near mint. The hammer and lever show silvered out case colors. Most of the fire blue finish remains on the cartridge elevator, and bolt. Mechanically when the lever is cocked, something isn’t lining up properly so it needs to be professionally fixed in order to not scratch anything unless you feel safe in not doing that. I know I can fix it, I just don’t want to risk it myself. This is one of the better examples you can and will find, and it would be difficult to improve upon at this price point. The market is a tad bit soft on Volcanics right now, at one time this would’ve been an easy $20,000-22,500 gun. To upgrade this gun would cost $30k plus as that next step would be flat mint. This is as close as your going to get and this is the best Pocket Model on the market I know of. Don’t turn your head on this one!
