Description:
Full nickel finish and deluxe grade wood. Gun is well documented with a clearance letter from the Treasury Department as well as a list of the other 1892s that have been BATF cleared. There is a letter from George Madis stating that he examined the gun and it is correct. Also a letter from the Cody Museum which lists it as a Carbine, 32 caliber, 15 inch barrel, full nickel and received in the warehouse on November 15,1903. Gun has also has been restored by Doug Turnbull with a receipt for the work. This gun was formerly in the Ed Brandhorst Collection. A nice gun with good markings and sharp corners. The nickel re-finish is nearly all remaining. Correct saddle ring. Fancy wood that has been lightly cleaned but still full to the metal. Looks great. Carbine style buttplate. Comes with a painted Mahogany case that is nicely padded.
