Most of the high condition Parkers are in the 175k SN range and newer. When you study a gun like this DH, you can see why Parker sold 240k guns. They made really beautiful firearms. This particular gun is in the 82k SN range and made on a 1-1/2 frame. It has 28" Damascus barrels with brilliant pattern, virtually all of which remains in pristine condition. The bores are brilliant and shiny. Made with splinter forend, double triggers, and extractors. The action is engraved in typical early DH pattern and retains more than 80% bold original case color. Stocks retain nearly all of their original finish. The quality of the wood on this gun cannot be overstated. The original skeleton buttplate retains more than 1/2 of the original blued finish as does the trigger guard.
