We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Shipping insurance is available upon request for an extra fee. We cannot do international sales. As of November 2019, we no longer ship guns to California and Hawaii.

One of Weatherby’s more popular models, the Vanguard is prized for its combination of low cost and high-quality manufacture. This example is a special commemorative model. It commemorates the National Wild Turkey Federation’s celebration of 35 Years of Conservation in the U.S. It is chambered in the .300 Weatherby Magnum, one of Roy Weatherby’s original cartridges introduced in 1944. He developed it by removing the taper present in the 300 H&H Magnum and giving it his distinctive double radius shoulder. When introduced, it was the fastest .30-caliber cartridge in the world. While it has since been surpassed by the .300 Remington Ultra Magnum and Weatherby’s own .30-378 Weatherby Magnum, the .300 Weatherby has become an American standard whose popularity exceeds those two cartridges. In fact, it is the best-selling of Weatherby’s cartridges and is offered by Federal, Hornady, and Remington. As mentioned, this rifle is a commemorative edition, so it features high quality wood, a specially marked floor plate, and a high-luster bluing. It is a sight to see compared to the more common versions of the Vanguard, such the synthetic model with its plain grey rubber stock and matte blue finish. The effort put into this rifle is on par with Weatherby’s Mk. V rifles. This rifle comes with the original box and remains unfired. While there is currently no scope, it does come equipped with scope rings.
