Description:
Lot of 5 UMC tinned 45-70 cartridges. These cartridges were reloaded at Picatinny arsenal at some time prior to 1900. Our background information is based on two cases of standard 45-70 that were shipped from the arsenal to Bannermans in the early 1900's and acquired by us a few years ago (sorry the cases are not for sale). These tinned cartridges are all head stamped F/12/93 (Frankford Dec 1893) rough poor stampings -sold as lot of 5 cartridges all the same.
