Very nice Model 1849 Colt Revolver. This has a 4" barrel and 5 shot cylinder. ~Adress Saml. Colt Hartford Ct.~ on barrel. This gun has a pre Civil War serial number 176833 manufactured in 1860-1861. ALL numbers match including wedge. Grips are in fine condition with no damage. Backstrap and triggerguard are nice smooth brass with no traces of silver. The frame shows very little case. All domed screws are original to gun and complete. The cylinder retains 100% cylinder scene with mottled brown/blue. Gun has partial safety stops left. All mechanics work smoothly at full and halfcock. The barrel has lots of shiney blue on top and left side of barrel. The right side is mixed with brown/blue. Overall about 65-75% blue showing. $1075.00 or best offer
