Description:
Sale Pending. Very nice Stafford .22 RF, single shot derringer. Made circa 1860's, this is 1 of only about 2100 made. It features beautiful scroll engraving on the frame and barrel. The frame is gold gilt with a very high percentage of original gold remaining. The 3 1/2" barrel is silver plated with much silver remaining and blending with grey patina. All factory applied markings are clear and sharp. The action works properly and the bore is good. The original walnut grips are nicely figured and fit properly. It is marked with serial number 1758 on the grip frame, under the grips and on the inside flat of the barrel. Price includes insurance and shipping directly to buyers within the continental United States where legal. A three day inspection is offered with full refund if returned unfired in the same condition. Buyer to pay return shipping. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional photos.
