Description:
This is the predecessor to the Colt First Model deringer. Originally produced by Moore's Patent Firearms Company from 1860-1865, this one is serial number 929 making it a early production, possibly during the Civil War. It is in good, original condition with ample silver finish remaining inside the curl of the grip and othe protected areas. The frame has very light traces of blue on the bottom. The action functions properly and the bore is about medium with some roughness, better than most of these I've seen. The barrel address is light but readable which is typical for these. There is a small amount of light erosion primarily on the left side and top of the barrel. The action functions properly and the engraving is only lightly worn.
Price includes insurance and shipping directly to buyers within the continental United States where legal. A three day inspection is offered with full refund if returned unfired in the same condition. Buyer to pay return shipping. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional photos.
