Description:
Colt Third Model or No. 3 deringer made circa 1870's with standard 2 1/2" barrel. The frame has a high percentage of factory nickel and the barrel has strong flashes of blue mixing with dark patina. The action functions properly and the bore is very good. The barrel markings are strong and sharp. The caliber marking on the frame is lightly stamped. The walnut grip have bumps and dings from riding in a pocket full of coins but still retain a lot of varnish.
