Description:
This is an early, full (50 round), Black Powder box of .38 Winchester (.38-40). The two piece box features and early “Central Fire" call out and “Solid Head" cut showing the headstamp and is the late 1890's or early 1900's style. The primary label has some light flaking with very good graphics and sides showing excellent graphics under some tape repairs to the split side and corner seams. The box is full with properly headstamped rounds, some of which have light oxidation on the lead bullets. A very good box that would benefit from proper restoration.
