Description:
***SOLD*** ~Browning A5 Light Twelve 12ga semi automatic shotgun, dated to the late 1950's, or possibly 1960 (0G23XXX S/N). This shotgun features the iconic A-5 hump-back profile with the trusty long-stroke recoil system, as well as checkered blonde walnut furniture, a blued finish, and decorative engraving on areas of the receiver. The shotgun is in good working order with a smooth action and a nice bore, as well as all functional mechanisms, with areas of finish loss, patina and removed surface rust, as shown in the photos. The stock finish also appears to be flaking, as shown. While the shotgun isnt the prettiest, it would make for a great field workhorse, or would be a great candidate for a nice cleanup and restoration project for a skilled tinkerer.
