****SOLD**** ~JC Higgins Model 583.22 20ga bolt action shotgun, manufactured for Sears. This shotgun was once a very commonly owned workhorse hunting and field shotgun, and to this day, many are still in service to their faithful owners. The shotgun operates on a very simple bolt action tube fed mechanism, and has a very nice walnut stock with a rich blued finish. The shotgun is in excellent condition, probably the nicest 583 we've ever come accross, with only small areas of minor handling marks, as shown. Please refer to the photos prior to purchase. This is a great shotgun for hunting or general purpose use! 14" LOP, modified choke.
