Here is a rare bird. A 2" Colt Marshal revolver. Only made for 2 years, '55 to '56, the total number made was 2,500, with many less made with the short 2" barrel. This example was well used and certainly carried a lot. There is also some blood pitting at the cylinder hinge and adjacent to that on the cylinder. All shown in the pictures. The exterior is generally well worn, with about 70% of the original blue. The bore is bright and clean. Action works as it should and locks up tight.
